Lift 3-4 days a week, alot of legs and fore arms excerises.(if your a pitcher just legs heavy, nothing else!) Do running, sprints, hills if you have them will help your explosiveness. Hit the cages as much as you can and setup a tee with the elastic ropes. Go on craigslist and post an ad in activities section and post that that you need someone to workout with, they can smack you the ball and run some drills with you that require two people.(Google "baseball drills") Believe it or not play one game a day of MLB Baseball and pay close attention to your mental situations, where to throw, play, bunt etc. and what you would do in real life. You always need to know what your gonna do before the pitcher pitches in advance, how many outs etc. Half this game is 90% mental. Good Luck!
go to the local batting cages
you can throw baseballs at a target and excercise
Run run run, sit ups, push ups, lift weights, these are all the things you can do by yourself to make you stronger and stay in great shape.
if you can find a hard wall , i like to throw a tennis ball or rubber ball against it and play infielder, scooping up the ball on the different bounces, etc.
get a ‘T’ for tball. many have strings on them so you dont have to have a bunch of balls to hit, you just have that one come back to you. watch the ball and try and drive it to certain areas, ie. left, middle, right. also a good drill is just laying on your bed and throwing a ball at the ceiling. dont hit the ceiling, just get as close as you can without hitting it. do that for about 10-20 min a day and it will really help your eye hand coordination. and finally, just work you throwing arm. throw a raquett ball againt the wall, kinda hard, then practice getting in front of it or ‘fielding’ it. these are pretty basic drills but should really help. good luck!!
Work on your legs and arms(dont get too bulky)
You should include what position you want to play to increase your chances of getting a good answer
get a thing called a pitch back its for accuracy
a hit away for hitting
you could also throw a ball against a wall
run and do push ups
theres a lot of things you can do to practice for baseball
also do some leg exercises they help the whole body
Batting cages, throw baseballs at targets, and hit the gym ever now and again to stay in shape…… also be sure to run a lot.
Swim.
It tones the body without bulking and it’s low-contact, meaning you’re less likely to be injured.
Don’t forget the batting cages too. Gotta get the muscle memory working for you.
