broccoli, raisin bran cereal, cauliflower, a granola bar, or a protein bar/shake…
Keep it light so you can still run and not end up tossing your cookies! I say a small sandwich of ham and cheese with lettuce and tomato. Filling but will not bog you down!
my coach always told me to eat pasta or carbohydrates an hour before every game for energy and staminia, dont eat vegatables as the dont have calories to provide the necessities neede for the game.,
apples
Don’t eat meat, will pull at your energy and weigh you down. Simple carbo’s, some yogurt, water or gatorade.
